Resiliency

Resiliency

Positive Thoughts

According to the dictionary resiliency is the power or ability to return to the original form, position etc. after being bent, compressed or stretched, or sometimes it is called elasticity.

In other words resiliency is the ability to recover readily from further stage, condition, situation to  the prior stage, condition, situation.

There are many kinds or challenges in our life. Say it would be trauma, tragedy, personal crises, plain 'Ole' life problems etc.

Resiliency is the ability to overcome these challenges and bounce back stronger, wiser and more personally powerful.

We learnby a teacher or by an education; but we learn better by our mistakes and our failures. So the mistakes or failures may be unwanted but they entirely are not useless. They have some importance. According to Nelson Mandela,

"The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."

According to Bern William,

"Man never made any material as resilient as human spirit."

You should accept your capabilities in what extent they are. And should not expect more by ignoring them.

According to Elizabeth Edwards,

"Resilience is accepting your new reality, even if it'g less good than one you had before."

You should have the capability to overcome the unexpected results happened with you.

According to Jamais Casao,

"Resilience is all about being able to overcome the unexpected. Sustainability is about survival. The goal of resilience is to thrive."

Some of our capabilities are even aren't known even by us. They are hidden. Somewhere, I have read that only 10% of our mind we know and 90% is unknown by us.
Hence, we should find our what and in what extent the capabilities lied into us and then use them to achieve a desired goal.

According to A. P. J. Abdul Kalam,

"When we tackle obstacles, we find hidden reserves of courage and resilience we did not know we had. And it is only when we are faced with future do we realize that these resources were always there within us. We only need to find them and move on with our lives."

According to Sheri L. Dew,

"Indeed, this life is a test. It is a test of many things of our convictions and priorities, our faith and our faithfulness, our patience and our resilience and in the end our ultimate desires."

According to Kate Reardon,

"A good school teaches you resilience - that ability to bounce back."

You should be resilient. You should have the ability to come back into your strong state of your mind after any stroke. May be it a good or bad. May be it a pleasurous or sorrowful.
Here, you should try to forget the strokes you experience and try to get back into your earlier strong position of your mind.
